We paid a visit to a lady of over 70 (real age withheld!) who had suffered a fracture of the femoral shaft four months earlier.  She had been treated conservatively on traction and then a thigh brace.

Her house was some distance from the road.

Where she lives and farmed alone  on the hill top.

She was surprised and delighted to see us.

And insisted on giving us coffee as I was the first white man to ever visit her house

A wonderful lady.
