Notes

1.       In order for the British Palawan Trust to reclaim tax you must have paid an amount of income tax and/or capital gains tax at least equal to the tax that the charity reclaims on your donation in the tax year. If you are a higher rate taxpayer further tax relief is available to you. If you are unsure whether your donation qualifies for the Gift-Aid tax relief you can ask your local tax office for leaflet IR113 Gift Aid.

2.       Thanks to the government’s Gift Aid Scheme, the British Palawan Trust can reclaim 25p on every £1 donation, increasing the value by a quarter at no extra cost to you.

3.       We are very sorry, but CAF cheques or vouchers are not eligible for gift aid to be claimed by the British Palawan Trust.

4.       Please send completed form to the British Palawan Trust at the address above.

NOTES

Standing Orders are best made using the form supplied

by your own bank putting in the details of our account as above.

We can supply a generic Standing Order form if you write to us

but your bank would prefer that you use their form.

We do not normally send receipts or acknowledgements to save money.  If you require a receipt please let us know.

Data Protection

From May 2018 the Data Protection rules are changing under the General Data Protection Rules (EU but applicable after Brexit).    You have been on our mailing list for some years and have received our regular News Letters.   This implies you are happy to be on our list.

The mailing list is kept in the UK by the Chairman and holds your name and address only.  It is not used for any other purpose than the British Palawan Trust News Letters, so a copy is sent to our unit in Palawan for them to use the addresses.

If you wish to opt out please let the Chairman know by e-mail or post.
